Links to Wellbeing Christmas Closure Dates 2019

Links to Wellbeing would like to advise that our offices will be providing a limited service during the Christmas and New Year holiday period.

Lived Experience Telephone Support Service (LETSS)

Will operate throughout the Christmas and New Year period from 5 pm to 11:30 pm and can be contacted on telephone 1800 013 755 or webchat

Suicide Prevention

All referrals including Suicide Prevention referrals will be accepted and processed up to Monday 31 December however no face-to-face sessions will be available until Wednesday 2nd January 2019.

Practices can continue to send referrals to Links to Wellbeing after this time, but GPs must be aware those referrals on the 31st December may not be screened for suicide risk or processed until Thursday 2nd January 2018.

GP PASA

Please also be advised that GP PASA bookings will not be available from 21 December.  GP PASA appointments can be arranged when the office reopens on Thursday 2nd January 2018.

Main Office

Links to Wellbeing offices will be closed from close of business Monday 24 December 2018 and will reopen Wednesday 2nd January 2018.

Link to Wellbeing referrals

If you refer patients to Links to Wellbeing during the closure period, patients need to be informed that they WILL NOT be contacted by the Links to Wellbeing team until after Thursday 2nd January 2018.

Emergency and crisis contact

  • If your patient needs emergency assistance please contact 000 or they can present to the Emergency Department of the nearest public hospital.
  • If your patient is experiencing a Mental Health Emergency please call the Mental Health Triage Service on 13 14 65.
  • If your patient is under 18 years and is experiencing a Mental Health Emergency please call the Women’s and Children’s Hospital on 81617000.
