Links to Wellbeing end of year hours

Links to Wellbeing will be providing a limited service during the End of Year holiday period. Our offices will be closed from midday Thursday 24 December 2020 and will reopen Monday 4th January 2021.

Available services

LETSS- Lived Experience Telephone Support Service

LETSS  will continue to operate throughout the End of Year holiday period from 5pm to 11:30pm and may be contacted by calling 1800 013 755 or visiting the website

Walk-in, After-hours Mental Health Service

The walking service at the Noarlunga GP Plus Super Clinic will remain available from 5pm–11pm Thursdays to Saturdays and 5pm–11pm Mondays and may be contacted by calling 1300 093 720.

Referrals

All referrals including Suicide Prevention referrals will be accepted and processed up to Tuesday 31 December however no face to face sessions will be available until Monday 4th January 2021.

Practices can continue to send referrals to Links to Wellbeing after this time, however, GPs must be aware that referrals sent on the 31st December may not be screened for suicide risk or processed until Monday 4th January 2021.

If you refer patients to Links to Wellbeing during the closure period, patients need to be informed that they WILL NOT be contacted by the Links to Wellbeing team until after Monday 4th January 2021.

Emergency and crisis support

  • If you or your patient is experiencing a Mental Health Emergency, please call the Mental Health Triage Service on 13 14 65.
  • If you or your patient is under 18 years and is experiencing a Mental Health Emergency, please call the Women’s and Children’s Hospital on 81617000.
  • If you or your patient needs emergency assistance, please contact 000 or they can present to the Emergency Department of the nearest public hospital.
