As we approach the holiday period, we wanted to confirm that all Links to Wellbeing programs will remain open and available across the Christmas to New Year period.
We know that the holiday period can be a difficult time for some people, so we encourage you to let your clients know that Links to Wellbeing supports remain available if needed.
For immediate in-person support for mental health distress and alternative to the emergency department, people can visit this service from 5pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday (including public holidays). This is a free service, and no appointment is needed.

The Walk-in Service is providing additional support to people quarantining due to COVID-19, as per SA Government requirements, with referral directly by SA Health Services in partnership with the APHN.
To speak with a peer-worker over the phone or online, support is available between 5.00pm and 11.30pm, 365 days a year, including public holidays.
This short-term program (5 – 8 weeks) is staffed by mental health professionals who provide risk assessments, evidence-based therapies, and practical support to prevent suicide and self-harm. This service will continue to take referrals over the holiday period, with all referrals responded to within 24 hours.
