The Lived Experience Telephone Support Service (LETSS) is a phone and online support service, available between 5 pm – 11:30 pm, 365 days ayear.

Lived experience of recovery

The trained support staff have a personal lived experience and managing challenges to their mental health. They draw on their experience of recovery in their support and understanding of the caller’s unique experience.

Non-clinical mental health support

LETSS support workers provide non-clinical mental health support, which can help people to find the right support and navigate the options available to them. The service offers an alternative to attending emergency departments and assist with access to appropriate in-hours services provided by State, Commonwealth or non-governmental organisations.

Anyone can call for support

LETSS it is a free service available to anyone. Those who may like to access the service include people with mental health conditions,their carers, friends and family.
