Perinatal Program

Supportive and non-judgemental services for parents with concerns which may be interfering with daily activities

Parenting can be exciting and rewarding but also challenging. Sometimes the challenges of parenting can lead to difficult emotions and thoughts that can interfere with daily activities.

Supportive and non-judgemental support

We provide easy access to supportive and non-judgemental mental health services that reduce guilt or shame and support recovery.

The Perinatal program provides counselling and psychological interventions in the antenatal period (during pregnancy) to the first year of parenthood.

The perinatal program is for parents who are experiencing difficulties with anxiety and depression and other psychological concerns.

The service offers an initial six sessions with an experienced mental health clinician, with the possibility of a further six sessions after review with your GP.
