Get immediate support

The free, Walk-in After-Hours Mental Health Service is for people who are seeking help with stress, grief, depression and anxiety outside regular support service hours.

Available from 5pm–11pm Thursday to Saturday and 5pm–11pm Monday, you can meet with friendly and non-judgmental staff who can provide immediate support.

No appointment is required, meaning this service can be an alternative to attending the emergency department.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or require emergency assistance contact 000 or Lifeline 13 11 14.

Experienced clinicians

Our skilled clinicians draw from their experience to help understand your needs and what may help now.

We also offer staff with a lived experience on mental health concerns who provide informed and non-judgemental support to help in times of distress.

Link with ongoing support

With a comprehensive understanding of the mental health system, we can provide information about a range of other services available to you and how to navigate them.

For longer-term support, we can refer to local mental health or counselling services available during regular hours.

For intensive and complex support, we can also refer to acute mental health services.
