Walk-in, After-hours Mental Health Service

Immediate, in-person support for mental health distress

An alternative to the emergency department when experiencing mental health distress.

Get immediate mental health support

We provide in-person, solution-focused, support to help deal with stress, grief, depression and anxiety, after-hours.

You can arrive between 5pm and 10pm Monday – Friday for immediate support in times of distress.

This is a free service and no appointment is needed.

The Walk-in After-hours Mental Health Service is available at the Noarlunga GP Plus Super Clinic Alexander Kelly Dr, Noarlunga.

A welcoming and friendly experience

The in-person support is provided by a combination of peer-led recovery and clinical support staff.

Our friendly and non-judgmental staff work with you to understand your needs, what may help now and link you with the right support for the future.

Link with ongoing support

With a comprehensive understanding of the mental health system, we can provide information about a range of other services and how you can navigate them.

For longer-term, intensive and complex support, we can refer to local acute care, mental health or counselling services available during regular hours.

Eligibility

To be eligible for Walk-in After-hours Mental Health Service, you need to be 16 or over and: 

  • experiencing distress from an ongoing mental health concern or situational issue
  • live in Central or Southern Adelaide.

No appointment is required for this free service.

The Walk-in After-hours Mental Health Service is available at the Noarlunga GP Plus Super Clinic Alexander Kelly Dr, Noarlunga between 5pm and 10pm Monday to Friday.
